In March Heather and I took a trip to Disneyland with Alicia, John, Spencer, Olivia, Matthew and Jacob. We had so much fun. It was so enjoyable to watch the kids as they met the characters and go on the rides. Olivia (4 1/2 yrs old) was the champion of all the rides. She even went on the tower of terror and was awarded the "shortest rider" title afterward. She was a trooper. I think my favorite time with Spencer was the character breakfast in Goofy's kitchen. He was so happy. Matthew was darling as he "bounced" out of the place where we saw Tigger and he continued to do so for the entire visit. He is adorable. Jacob, of course, was happy to sleep through everything. Alicia and John had a special night to celebrate their 12th anniversary and Grandma and the kids watched movies at the hotel. Heather joined them after dinner to get in the last of the rides. Grandma Foltz drove with us to California where she stayed with Aunt Violet during our time in Disney. We spent a night in Las Vegas on the way and saw the strip. Scared as she was, Alicia went with Heather on the roller coaster on the top of New York, New York. She had to admit that it was fun after all was said and done. Heather loved it and is looking for the next one she wants to ride.
